JPC level series in second match

LAHORE, April 19: Three goals each by Bhopindar Singh and Rakhshit enabled Jaipur Club, India to level the three-match series 1-1 against Lahore Polo Club, winning the second 8-3 on Thursday.

The visitors made a stormy start, taking 5-0 lead in the first chukker. Abhimanu, opened the scoring, with a field goal, followed by another one from Bhopindar, his first also through a field attempt. Soon Ransher Singh made it 3-0, while Bhupindar struck his second before Rakshit fired home his first to gain the firm lead.

LPC tried to stage a comeback but it could only make the score 6-2 at the end of third chukker. Umar Sadik and Usman Haye scored for the home team while Rakshit pumped in his second for the visitors.

In the fourth chukker, Jaipur Club maintained the onslaught and fetched two more goals against conceding one to complete the tally. Rakhshit scored his third on solo effort while Bhopinder his third. Sufi Mohammad Amir reduced the margin for the LPC.The final match will be played on Saturday.
