KARACHI: Man shot dead in Clifton

KARACHI, April 19: A 40-year-old man was shot dead in Clifton by a youth who swiftly fled the scene.

Police said Imran Shaikh, a real estate dealer, was sitting in his office along with his two friends when the youth came in and asked him about the location of a plot in the vicinity. They said that while Mr Shaikh was taking out the map, the stranger opened fire killing the estate dealer.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre. The victim had received multiple bullet wounds in his upper torso.

MURDER: A 14-year-old boy was found dead with his throat slit in Lines Area. His body was shifted to JPMC where he was identified as Muneer son of Manzoor.

Brigade police said the victim, a Bengali-speaking youth, was a student of class VIII.
