PESHAWAR, April 18: NWFP Minister for Information Technology Hussain Ahmad Kanju has directed the officials of his ministry to upload on the official web portal four years’ performance of the provincial government.

The officials were asked to also launch an Urdu version of the data on the government performance. The minister was presiding over a presentation organised by the IT department in Hayatabad on Wednesday.

He also asked the officials to prepare a summary for the chief minister to bind all government departments to nominate their focal persons for updated information and prompt reply to queries of the general public on the official website.

The minister lauded the launching of a pilot project to computerise the land revenue record and said that it would not only provide update information to the people about their property, but would also reduce the burden of property cases on civil courts.—APP
