PESHAWAR, April 17: The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Maulana Falzur Rehman, has warned that the country will fall apart if the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) came to power in the forthcoming elections.

“Benazir Bhutto should understand that the situation has changed. This is not 1996 like situation to control law and order in Karachi through rangers and paramilitary forces,” he insisted.

He said this while speaking to Ulema and heads of seminaries at the Auqaf Hall here on Tuesday.

Coming down heavily on the statements of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Mualana Fazl said: “This is my fair observations that if the PPP forms the next government the country will divide”.
