Quake-affected districts to get computers


PESHAWAR, April 17: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will provide computers, printers and multimedia to revenue departments in five earthquake-affected districts of the NWFP.

An agreement to this effect was signed between the UNDP and the NWFP revenue department on Tuesday.

Shah Wali Khan, senior member of the Board of Revenue, and Tariq Rafiq, coordinator of the UNDP national project, signed the agreement.

The secretary of the Board of Revenue and director of the Land Recovery were also present on the occasion.

According to the agreement, the UNDP will provide two computers, two printers and one multimedia to revenue offices of the districts hit by earthquake in the province.—APP
