PESHAWAR, April 14: Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Saturday inaugurated the renovation work of the Bacha Khan’s mausoleum in Jalalabad and recalled the services of the great freedom fighter for fighting against the British imperialism in the subcontinent.
Awami National Party president Asfandyar Wali Khan, Nangarhar Governor Gul Agha and senior officials of the Afghan government were also present.
The Afghan government and Bacha Khan Trust of the ANP would finance the work.—Bureau
