Kasuri inquires after Indian FM’s health

ISLAMABAD, April 14: Foreign Minister Khurshid M. Kasuri on Saturday telephoned Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who had injured himself in a road accident, to inquire after his health. Mukherjee thanked Kasuri and informed him that he had fully recovered.

The Indian minister appreciated Pakistan’s cooperation in a rescue operation following the crash of an Indian helicopter in Siachen on April 11 in which two pilots had suffered fatal injuries.

The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on the latest developments in bilateral relations and expressed their commitment for further improvement.—APP
