KARACHI, April 11: Four ships carrying containers, crude oil and to load general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, APL Brisbane, Ihsaa, Nyzdan and Harmony to unload and load containers and Zhong Yang Men to unload and load general cargo.

Sailing was also active as seven ships, Noni, Bao Qing Men, Shanghai Pride, Westermoor, OEL Aishwarya, Guard Aleta and Mol Admiration departed, while Oel Esteem, Nafto Cement-11, Teen, Zhong Yang Men, APL Brisbane, Nyzdan and Harmony are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was relatively slow as the total tonnage handled fell to 60,982 tons comprising 30,626 tons of export cargo mainly cement and 30,356 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Shalamar with crude oil, Conti Esperance, Calvin P. Titus with container and Westward Venture to load general cargo.
