THATTA, April 10: The resignation of former MPA Syed Shah Bukhari from the PPP’s Sindh Council in Thatta and creation of another group within the party rank is considered a severe blow to the party by political analysts and sympathisers.

This is the second resignation of council member while many office-bearers and party activists throughout the district had quit along with the walking out of another member Abdul Sattar Lohar.

Shafique Shah Bukhari while talking to Dawn said wrong decisions imposed by the provincial head, Syed Qaim Ali Shah compelled him to say good-bye to the party.

He tendered his resignation during a provincial meeting held at the PPP Secretariat in Karachi on Monday.

The PPP stalwart said as long as favouritism, nepotism, undemocratic norms and ethics are carried on by the leaders he will continue to stay out of the party but remain working as an activist.

According to reports the party's former district President Syed Masood Mustafa Shah has left for Dubai to discuss the issues with the Chairperson Benazir Bhutto.
