KARACHI, April 10: A manuscript on forty Hadith, which is generally known as “Arbaeen” is on display in the National Museum of Pakistan as object of the month, for the month of April 2007.

The copy containing forty Hadith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) along with Persian translation by Abdul Rehman Jami once adorned the Royal Library of Mughal Emperor Akbar and remained under his study.

The copy was transcribed by Muhib Ali in A.H. 985/1577 A.D. The original text is in bold thuluith script while the versified Persian translation by Abdul Rahman Jami is in Naskh.

The original binding including blue cloth of that time is amazingly preserved.
