KARACHI: CDGK raises milk rates


KARACHI, April 10: The city government on Tuesday increased fresh milk the prices by announcing an interim price of Rs28 and Rs30 per litre at wholesale and retail level respectively.

According to a notification, the new milk price for wholesalers is Rs28 per litre while the retail price of milk is Rs30 per litre. The decision to fix an interim milk price was taken in a meeting chaired by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Karachi Fazlur Rehman.

The interim rates will be enforced immediately until the prices for milk are decided. The decision was taken in compliance with the directives of Sindh High Court. — Staff Reporter
