HYDERABAD, April 9: The Jamshoro University Sindh, to pay tributes to its founding Vice Chancellor Allama I.I. Kazi began a week of celebrations on Monday at its campus. Rich tributes were paid to the founder for his invaluable services in the filed of education and for setting up the university.

The celebrations were inaugurated with the planting a sapling of neem by Dr Baloch and the VC, Mr Mazharul Haq Siddiqui at the Allama I.I. Kazi Memorial Society.

The VC inaugurated the “Dr N.A. Baloch Reference Room.” About 700 valuable books were donated by him to “Allama I.I. Kazi Library.” A painting, ceramics and textile exhibition too, was inaugurated by him.

The Institute of Language organised a symposium on the “Vision of Allama I.I. Kazi on the importance and use of language in education” at the Nelson Mandela conference hall.

The speakers eulogised Allama’s services as an educationist and a philosopher who devoted his whole life to this great cause.
