Sachin, Yuvraj to get notice

MUMBAI, April 7: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to come down hard on the Indian players after their poor performance in the World Cup. BCCI treasurer N. Srinivasan said on Saturday that the Board would soon issue a notice to Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh for speaking to the media about their relationship with coach Greg Chappell after the team returned from the West Indies following their exit from the World Cup.

A few days back Tendulkar had voiced his anger against the policies of Chappell, accusing the Aussie of casting a doubt over his commitment to the game.

Yuvraj had also said that Chappell's alleged criticism of some senior players had brought the team together and the players were furious.—Agencies
