FAISALABAD, April 7: Two people were gunned down by dacoits in different incidents on offering resistance here on Saturday. Imdad Ali, a milkman of Chak 53-JB, was on his way home when two robbers intercepted him near Dhotian Bridge in Nishatabad police precincts. On resistance, the dacoits opened fire, killing Imdad on the spot.

The second incident took place near Thekariwala where Ghulam Murtaza was shot dead by bandits. Murtaza was asleep at his house in Chak 275-JB when dacoits entered his room. On seeing them, he raised an alarm. The dacoits opened fire killing him on the spot.
