Trader robbed of Rs2.2m

HYDERABAD, April 7: Unidentified armed bandits deprived a trader of Rs2.2 million at gunpoint on the Hyderabad-Tando Mohammad Khan Road near Seri sugar mills in the Husri police station’s area on Saturday.

Haji Mohammad Arif was coming to Tando Mohammad Khan from Hyderabad in his car when bandits intercepted him near Seri Sugar Mills and deprived him of Rs2.2 million, cell phone and his car at gunpoint.

Taluka Police Officer Tandojam Malik Zafar said that the car had been found in the area of police post Paban but he was not sure whether the looted money was in it or not.
