KOHAT, April 6: At least 10 people, including women and children, were killed and 17 others injured in a collision between a coaster and a bus in Sheraki area of Darra Adam Khel, on Friday.

The Karachi bus bound for Peshawar collided head-on with the Dera Ismail Khan-bound coaster due to speeding.

Seven of the 10 people killed have been identified as Haris, Najeeb Ullah, Noor Jehan, Zakia, Aftab, Nageena and Romin.

Eleven seriously injured people have been shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, from the KDA Medical Complex, Kohat. Thirteen injured were provided the first aid in KDA Medical Complex and four in the Darra hospital.

Drivers of both the vehicles were also injured and admitted to the KDA Medical Complex.

Authorities have impounded both the vehicles.
