NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 5: A senior lawyer of Kandiaro has threatened to commit suicide outside the presidency in Islamabad on April 19 in protest against worsening lawlessness and injustice in the country.

Senior advocate Liaquat Ali Baloch said in a communication faxed to President Gen Pervez Musharraf that he had lost hope for justice and law and order. He distributed the copies of his communication among journalists.

He said that he had filed a number of applications and direct complaints against provincial minister Manzoor Ali Shah and his associates about misuse of powers and state machinery for personal interests to the DPO of Naushahro Feroze but to no avail. Who could get justice in a country where the chief justice himself was denied justice, he asked.—Correspondent
