GILGIT, April 5: A large number of candidates who appeared in the competitive examination for Northern Areas in the second week of October 2006 have expressed concern over the delay in the results of the written exam, which have not been declared yet.
They said more than 2,000 candidates took the written exam for 20 vacant posts in the Northern Areas administration.
They said they had been waiting for their results for six months, although those of the exams held for the posts of deputy superintendent of police had been declared.
Any further delay was bound to create doubts about the reliability of the results, they said.
They called upon the FPSC to ensure transparency, uphold merit and take steps to announce the results as early as possible to end uncertainty among the candidates.
