Three killed in mine accident

GHALLANAI (Momand Agency), April 5: Three people were killed and two others injured on Thursday when a marble mine located at the Spairai Ghumbati range caved in. The accident occurred when labourers were busy loading the marble on trucks near the cave when it collapsed suddenly.

Those killed are Nazir, hailing from the Swabi district, and two brothers Shah Wali and Noorali, residents of the Pindyaee tehsil in the Momand agency.

The injured were a truck driver and a worker who were taken to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.
