ST JOHN'S (Antigua), April 4: Sri Lanka beat England by two runs in their Super Eight match here on Wednesday.

Scores: Sri Lanka 235; England 233.

Sajid Mahmood took four wickets, dismissing Sanath Jayasuriya and Kumar Sangakkara to help keep the scoring rate down from the start. Andrew Flintoff claimed 3-35, and three batsmen were out in the 50th over with Dilhara Fernando run out off the last ball.—AP
