MIRPURKHAS, April 4: Scores of domestic gas consumers waving inflated bills, staged a demonstration outside the office of the Sui Southern Gas Company, SSGC, here on Tuesday evening. The consumers, including a large number of women gathered outside the SSGC office in Satellite town.

Some of the protesters forced their entry into the SSGC office, ransacked its fixtures, and manhandled Dilawar Zardari, deputy manager billing section and another employee Ashok.

The protesters told journalists that they were issued inflated bills for the month of February and on a number of occasion, SSGC officials had promised to issue correct bill next month.
