LARKANA, April 4: The Pakistan People’s Party (Shaheed Bhutto) Chairperson Ms Ghinwa Bhutto on Wednesday condemned rendering Chief Justice of Pakistan non-functional and called for his reinstatement.

Addressing a public meeting in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, which was part of the events marking the 28th death anniversary of late Z. A. Bhutto, Ms Ghinwa said that the PPP-SB had firm belief in strengthening institutions.

She suggested that people of all provinces should sit together to solve water issue and expressed the fear that Kalabagh Dam would dry up the River Indus.

She said that that Gen Musharraf had miserably failed in providing health, education and other basic facilities to people and criticised him for kowtowing to America after 9/11.

She said that had Z. A. Bhutto been alive he would not have succumbed to the pressure and the situation regarding Iran and Muslims would have been different from what it was today.

She slammed the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti and called for giving gas royalty to Balochistan. She urged lawyers, labourers, and students to forge unity among their ranks and prepare themselves for future challenges.

Late Murtaza Bhutto’s children Ms Fatima Bhutto and Zulfikar Bhutto Junior also participated in the anniversary.
