CJ inquires after counsel’s health
PESHAWAR, April 2: Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has prayed for the early recovery of his counsel and the Chairman of the Pakistan Bar Council’s Executive Committee, Qazi Mohammad Anwar, who suffered a heart attack three days ago.
It is learnt that Justice Chaudhry on Sunday evening called Mr Anwar, who is active in the movement launched by the lawyers across the country, and prayed for his early recuperation so that he could again join the six-member team of lawyers defending him on the reference filed by the president before the Supreme Judicial Council.
