KARACHI, March 31: The examinations department of Karachi University on Saturday announced the results of MBBS First Professional Part A and B annual examinations 2007.

In Part-A exams, Muhammad Owais Musani of Jinnah College (bearing seat no 70217) clinched first position and Madeeha Taj of Karachi Dental and Medical College (seat no 70144) took third position.

The name of the second position holder would be announced later, said the university announcement. Of 245 candidates appeared, 99 passed in the exams. The pass percentage remained 40.41 percent.

In Part-B exams, Sania of Karachi Medical College (seat no 70571) took first position, Rozmeen Shoaib of Jinnah Medical College (seat no 70563) clinched second position while Zohaib Fazal of Jinnah Medical College (seat no 70521) stood third.

A total of 113 candidates appeared in the exams, out of which 107 passed it. The pass percentage remained 94.69 per cent.—PPI
