Two injured in firing

By Our Correspondent

DARRA ADAMKHEL, March 3: A nephew of a local MNA and another person were injured when some people opened fire on them in the main Darra bazaar on Friday night, according to their relatives.

They said two motorbike riders opened fire with AK-47 rifles on Farooq Khan, the nephew of MNA Dr Nasim Afridi, and his close relative Moeen Khan. The injured were taken to a Peshawar hospital.

Meanwhile, a time bomb exploded inside the barber shop of Abdul Salam in the town on Friday night. The explosion rocked the entire area, but no casualty was reported.

A few days ago, barbers in the town received threats to stop trimming beards, otherwise they would be punished.
