PESHAWAR, March 2: Speaker of NWFP Assembly Bakht Jehan Khan, on the recommendations of the departmental promotion and recruitment committee No 1, has promoted Mohammad Mushtaq, senior additional secretary (BPS-21), to the post of secretary to the provincial assembly in BPS-21 following the retirement of Nazir Ahmad on March 11.
BODY FORMED: The speaker has constituted a Departmental Promotion/Recruitment Committee with immediate effect to advise the appointing authority of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat of the NWFP with regard to promotions and appointments to the posts in Basic Scale No 17 and above.
The committee consists of Bakht Jehan Khan, Speaker Provincial Assembly of the NWFP, as Chairman, and Shahzada Mohammad Gustasip Khan, MPA/ Leader of the Opposition, and Abdul Akbar Khan MPA as members.—PPI
