Nail-biting win for Habibians
KARACHI, Feb 22: A post interval comeback enabled hosts Habib Public School to collect full points when they beat Beaconhouse School 30-28 in a closely fought match in the Inter-school sports festival basketball tournament on Thursday.
The Habibians who trailed 8-15 at the halftime played with more vigour on resumption and turned the table on their opponents despite brilliant shooting skills of Shahzaib who contributed valuable 22. Shahmir top scored for winners with 14 points.
In the other matches, Defence Authority SKBZ Public School overwhelmed the City School, North Nazimabad, 28-7 while Clifton Grammar School edged past another City School branch 25-18.
