DPs’ registration stepped up

ISLAMABAD, Feb 3: The process of registration of an estimated over 2.4 million Afghan refugees has been stepped up as two million of them have been registered by Nadra so far and issued special identification cards, official sources said on Friday.

A tripartite meeting is being held in Lahore on February 6 in order to discuss the road-map prepared jointly by the ministry of interior and States and Frontier Regions for undertaking the planned repatriation.—Staff Reporter
