Facing a first-innings deficit of 78 after Karachi Harbour made 211, Peshawar found themselves just 92 runs in front at stumps at the Arbab Niaz Stadium on the third day of the match with all specialist batsmen dismissed.
Once it was Uzair-ul-Haq who created problems for the home team. The young paceman, who claimed four for 37 in the first innings, took four for 26.
Uzair was also responsible for breaking a threatening opening stand when he got rid of Mohammad Fayyaz for 31. Later he captured the prized scalp of in-form Wajahatullah Wasti for 12.
