By Our Staff Correspondent

MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 20: Thirty-one people were injured when a bus veered off the road near here on Saturday and fell onto a field along the left bank of the Jhelum river, police said.

The bus (AJK-1699) was going to the border village of Chakothi from Muzaff-arabad.

It overturned after plunging into the field near Rawani village, some eight kilometres south of here, a police official told this correspondent.

He said that 31 passengers were injured and 13 of them had been admitted to the Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences. Hospital sources said four victims were in a critical condition.
