GILGIT, Jan 18: An earthquake, measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, jolted almost the entire Northern Areas early on Thursday. The Met Department told APP from Peshawar that the epicentre of the quake was 350km north of Peshawar and its magnitude was 4.2. The quake was felt in Gilgit and Chilas cities. There was no report of fatalities or injuries from any of the affected areas, said the police.—APP
