KARACHI, Jan 18: Deutsche Bank on Thursday announced that it had made five senior appointments to its Karachi office over the past few months, reinforcing its commitment to further developing its local business in the country.

Fahim Ahmed joins Deutsche Bank as Head of Global Markets Pakistan. Mohammed Afaque has become Head of Sales for Pakistan. Faisal Anwar has been hired as an Associate in the Short Term Interest Rate Trading area and Salman Ali Jafri has been appointed for Global Rates Pakistan as an Associate. Faisal Zahid was also elevated to the newly created role of Head of Trade Finance & Cash Management Corporates for Pakistan.—PPI
