NOWSHWERA, Jan 15: A powerful blast in the Jalozai refugee camp here destroyed a mud-house late on Sunday night, killing four people and injuring five others. Witnesses and officials said that the explosion at around 11pm blew up the house of Maulvi Masoodullah, killing his brother Ismail and three guests. However, officials put the death toll at two.

Maulvi Masoodullah and four members of a neighbouring Afghan family — Akhtar Mohammad, 15, Laila, 16, Ms Nazneen and 8-year-old Morina — were injured. Maulvi Masoodullah had been taken into custody, sources said.
