Musharraf’s policies praised

LAHORE, Jan 15: Some women leaders of the ruling PML have praised the policies of President Musharraf as a result of which they say people are getting out of suffocation. Minister Nasim Lodhi, MNA Mehnaz Rafi, joint secretary Azra Pervaiz and MPA Rehana Jamil said the marathon race and Basant were healthy activities and ulema opposing them were isolating themselves. They alleged that some elements wanted to impose their own reactionary thoughts by opposing the positive recreational activities. They said marathon had improved Pakistan’s image in the rest of the world.
