KARACHI: PPP alleges workers’ harassment

KARACHI, Jan 12: Sindh President of the Pakistan People’s Party Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that rulers were upset by the party’s increasing popularity and this was the reason why they were using government machinery to victimise its activists and supporters and remove party flags from various localities.

He claimed that in Jafarabad, Dera Murad Jamali, PPP flags were removed from the houses and other places in various localities places in a recent action, and alleged that PPP activists were being harassed. He condemned such practices, and said that such moves could not deter the party workers from carrying forward the mission of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Demanding immediate release of all PPP activists, Mr Shah said that the PPP would continue with its peaceful struggle for the removal of present government.— Staff Reporter
