Dosti Bus collides with police jeep
SHEIKHUPURA, Dec 16: Two constables of police convoy were injured when their jeep struck Amritsar-bound Dosti Bus near Bhikki on Faisalabad Road on Saturday.
Constables Sarwar and Hayyat were travelling in the jeep to guard the Nankana Sahib-to- Amritsar Dosti Bus. Their jeep struck the bus, when the bus driver suddenly applied brakes to avoid a road mishap near Bhikki.
The two constables were hospitalised with life-threatening injuries. Bus passengers, however remained unhurt and the bus left for India after an hour delay.
