Plunderers target drug companies


VEHARI, Dec 15: The offices of two medicine companies were looted by unknown armed outlaws during the last 24 hour here. In the first incident, three robbers forcibly entered a drug company’s office in Sirhind Colony and took the staff hostage at gunpoint. They thrashed company manager Murtaza when he tried to put up resistance. They took away Rs600,000 and other valuables.

Similarly, three armed dacoits took away thousands of rupees in cash, along with valuables, from a medicine company’s office in Danywal town. The outlaws beaten up company employees on offering resistance and fled on a motorbike. — Correspondent
