By Our Correspondent

FAISALABAD, Dec 14: Five people, including two brothers, were killed in an accident on Thursday on Okara Road near Tandlianwala while nine others sustained injuries. A commuter bus was on its way to Fort Abbass from Faisalabad when one of its tyres burst. The driver lost control over the steering and it collided head-on with a jeep as a result of which four jeep riders, brothers Chiragh Din and Rashid Ahmad, their uncle Abdul Ghaffar and Hameed of Chak 390 Samundri, died on the spot. The bus driver also succumbed to his injuries.

Nine bus passengers, including Sakina, her seven-year-old son, Qaiser and Bahawal Sher, sustained injuries and were removed to hospital.

The dead were handed over to their families.
