KARACHI: Production of ‘accused’ urged

KARACHI, Dec 12: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, expressing concern over the disappearance of Maula Bakhsh, who was picked up in Sehwan by a law-enforcement agency, has demanded that he should be produced in court.

HRCP representative Ejaz Ahsan said Maula Bakhsh, son of Sher Ali, was coming out of the civil court in Sehwan on Dec 7 when he was picked up by four uniformed policemen.

Since then, he said, the relatives of Maula Bakhsh had approached every law enforcement agency in the area but whereabouts of the kidnapped person were still unknown.
