DOHA, Dec 10: Iran's Ehsan Hadadi won the men's discus gold medal at the Asian Games here on Sunday.
The 21-year-old threw a best of 63.79metres to beat Qatar's Rashid Shafi Al Dosari. Sultan Mubarak Al Dawodi of Saudi Arabia took the bronze.
Hadadi made history by becoming the first Iranian man to win a medal at a global athletics championships when he took gold at the 2004 World Junior Championships. —AFP
