SUKKUR , Dec 5: A woman was seriously injured by armed people in the Rajab Tart village, in the jurisdiction of Lakhi Ghulam Shah police station, Shikarpur, on Tuesday.
According to reports, a group of armed people opened fire on Jatoi tribesmen who were working at their agricultural land.
As a result, Mst. Shanzadi W/O Kaptan Jatoi, received injuries . The attackers fled from the scene when Jatois retaliated.
Later, the injured woman was shifted to civil hospital, Shikarpur. The Jatois claimed that the Mahars were behind the firing. No case was registered.
