Pakistan team due in India today

NEW DELHI, Dec 3: A six-member Pakistani delegation led by Dr Farooq Sattar, leader of the MQM’s parliamentary party in the National Assembly, arrives here on Monday on a week-long visit under the friendly exchange programme of political parties between the two countries.

The delegation will call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and leaders of the Indian political parties.

The delegation comprises two members of the National Assembly and three members of the provincial assemblies. It will also visit Mumbai on Dec 7 and 8 and will meet the chief minister of Maharashtra.—APP
