ISLAMABAD, Dec 3: The Shalimar police on Sunday seized a container suspected of carrying a huge quantity of liquor booked from Karachi for an embassy in Islamabad.
Police said only the name of the embassy (of a Muslim country) was mentioned on the freight bill, while the goods inside the container were not mentioned on it.
The police said when the authorities concerned were contacted, they said they could give the details of the consignment, if it was theirs, only on Monday.—Staff Reporter
