ISLAMABAD, Nov 27: Nato Commander General David Richards called on Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao at his office here on Monday and discussed issues relating to cross-border terrorism and measures to counter them.

Sherpao reiterated that peace and stability in Afghanistan was in vital interest of the region as well as Pakistan, and Islamabad was playing its constructive and progressive role in this regard.

He said Pakistan was actively participating in the reconstruction of Afghanistan and the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra) was registering Afghan refugees here for their safe return to their respective country.

“We condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and are committed to the war against terrorism,” he said.
