Islamophobia


ISLAMABAD, Nov 26: An academician has urged Muslim scholars to take the work of orientalists seriously and respond to them intellectually in the same language and method they understand to counter Islamophobia.

“It is the call of the hour to launch a well considered campaign for a scholarly response to the negative propaganda against Islam, specially in the West. Coordination among intellectuals, political and diplomatic circles of the Muslim world may be the key to success in this regard,” said Dr Mohammad Khalifa Hasan, vice president academics, International Islamic University (IIU).—Our Reporter
