ARL in trouble against Habib Bank

KARACHI, Nov 25: Attock Refinery Ltd (ARL) were facing massive defeat against star-packed Habib Bank Ltd (HBL) team in their four-day Patrons Trophy grade-I match at the UBL Sports Complex on Saturday.

Responding to HBL’s massive first innings total of 510, ARL crashed to 148 all out with Shahid Afridi and Azhar Mahmood taking three wickets each.

Instead of enforcing the follow-on, HBL decided to bat on and declared their second innings at 103-3.

Opener Taufiq Umar scored his second half century of the match. At the end of day’s play, ARL were reeling at 34 for two wickets in their second innings, still needing 432 runs to save the match.
