ACC moot tomorrow

LAHORE, Nov 23: The meeting of Development Committee of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) will be held on Saturday at a local hotel at Islamabad.

The meeting will be chaired by Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board, Dr Nasim Ashraf who is also the Chairman of the Development Committee.

A spokesman of the PCB said here on Thursday the meeting would discuss issues relating to the development of game in non-Test playing countries in the Asia Region.

Some of the important issues to be discussed are development plan for the next five years, development Budget for 2007-08, review of implemented programme and women cricket.

Other members who will be attending the meeting are Syed Ashraful Huq (CEO, ACC), Sultan Rana (Development Manager, ACC), Thusith Perera (Finance Manager, ACC), Shubhangi Kulkarni (Chairperson, ACC Women's Sub-Committee), John Cribbin (Hong Kong representative), Asad Baig (Kuwait representative), Nadeem Nadwi (Saudi Arabia representative), B.R Pandey (Nepal representative) and Ganesh Sundramoorthy (ACC Development Staff).

PCB Director Cricket Operations Salim Altaf and PCB General Manager Finance Mushtaq Ahmed will also attend the meeting. The meeting is held twice a year and the last meeting was held in May which was chaired by Ali Asghar from Bangladesh. —APP
