LAHORE, Nov 19: Two rape victims, one of them is a special person, have sought justice from the Punjab government against their alleged nine rapists, including a police official, and kidnapping of their brother.

Noor Jehan of Pakpattan told newsmen at the Lahore Press Club here on Sunday that the accused gang-raped her daughters Sumaria Azeem (disabled) and Shomaila Kanwal after failing to grab their land in Abdullah Shah Noori locality. The rape victims were also present on the occasion.

She alleged that policeman Kashif alias Kashi, Azhar alias Shikri and their seven accomplices barged into their house on Oct 30 and gang-raped them. They also took away 12.5 tola jewellery and Rs24,000.

“When we filed an application with Pakpattan city police, the accused abducted my son Liaquat Azeem,” she said.

Noor Jehan said in spite of a lapse of 19 days, the police neither registered a case nor recovered her son.

She alleged that the Pakpattan city SHO was supporting the accused.

She has appealed to police high-ups to arrest the accused and get her son recovered, besides conducting a DNA test of her daughters.
