Breach inundates crops

TOBA TEK SINGH, Nov 16: A 20-foot wide breach in Khkikha distributory inundated crops over hundreds of acres at Chak 321-GB, Pirmahal on Thursday. The cause of the breach could not be ascertained and it was unplugged till the filing of this report.

ACCIDENT: A two-year-old girl was run over and killed by the tractor of her father in Jamoon locality near Jakhar.

The girl was sitting beside her father Sakhawat who was driving the tractor in fields. Suddenly she fell down and was crushed to death.
