QUETTA, Nov 15: Power supply to Jamshoro was disrupted after four pylons supporting high-power transmission lines were blown up in the Hub area on Wednesday.

“One of the pylons of the Hubco company supplying power to Jamshoro Thermal Power Station was completely destroyed while three others were partially damaged as powerful time devices went off," sources said, adding that the supply was restored in the evening through alternative arrangements.

Engineers and other necessary staff would soon start replacing the damaged towers, they said.Meanwhile, a powerful explosion occurred in the Khuzdar late on Wednesday night.

"The home-made device exploded in a empty plot, causing panic among the people," a police official in Khuzdar said.
